Where are you going this year?

We at Sowers attempt to make every effort to meet your personal goals to serve in missions. We offer a wide variety of ministry opportunities so that you are able to use your God-given talents. Sowers offers two ways in which you can exercise these talents.

First, kingdom teams are teams that are organized by local churches but go to our fields. We do everything related to travel & ministry on the field and provide a leader to accompany the team. We coordinate with the local church as to dates and places. There is also an incentive; if you get 7 or more people to join the team, you go for free.

The benefit of doing a kingdom team is that the group is able to choose the dates they wish to go, and coordinate the the onfield activities.

Second, we offer our Sowers teams. These are teams that we organize that go out as individuals from different churches. Much of the organization is done by e-mail, an orientation time is done on the field. We are word centered evangelicals and expect all participants to go through a process that includes completing an application and a reference from a pastor. These teams are led by our founder and executive director Gwynn Lewis, and various staff members.

Sowers is involved in minsitry around the world. We have established servants in each area so that ministry continues even after the short term mission has been completed.

Byron & Sheyla Shore serve in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
David & Staff serve in Mainland China.
Luis & Martha Gonzales serve in Medellin, Colombia in conjuction with Corporacion El Hermano.
Rosyln & Phylla Sipat serve in Thailand.
Phillip & Jo Pabalate have been serving in Mindanao, Philippines for 10 years.
Jairo & Ruby Soberanis are our Guatemalan nationals serving in Mazatenango and Quetzaltenago, Guatemala.

Now is the time to begin planning your personal mis- sion or to raise up your church and serve God this summer. We here at Sowers want to encourage you to hon- estly pray about going out this summer.
