Please pray for the following:

The new babies & their parents, the babies are doing great, it's the parents that need our prayers!

Pray for sister Jackie who is applying for a visa to come here to the USA for some bible training, for patience for her and a visa from DHS!

Pray for Pastor Luis Gonzalez, missionary to Colombia, he has had to return to his country of Guatemala to receive medical care, pray for healing!

Pray for finances for Sowers, seems like the bad economy is catching up with us.

Christafari Receives New Blessing!

photo

Mark & Avion Mohr, of the popular reggae band CHRISTAFARI, are so thrilled with the arrival of Ziza Forever Mohr. Ziza (pronounced zee-zah) is a Hebrew name that means splendor and abundance. A true gift from our Father to the Mohr family.

Avion and I went into the hospital for a routine test to make sure the baby was healthy and they said that her amniotic fluid was low and that we weren't leaving labor and delivery until she had the baby. For the next 3 days they tried to induce labor, but all attempts failed. So on Thursday, March 22nd she went in for a scheduled C-section. Thankfully there were no complications (besides me crying like a baby)! Nothing will make a grown man cry like seeing the birth of his firstborn! It was a precious moment followed by many sleepless nights!
She was born at 6:05pm on March 22nd (the official due date). She weighed in at 7lbs and 3.5oz and 19 inches long. She was born with a full head of hair (no dreads yet) and a HUGE set of lungs--yes, we're sure she'll be a LOUD singer. Our lives are forever changed for the better.

Sowers Also Receives a Blessing!

Bennett Lewis Marston was born on March 20th at 12:28pm.  He weighed in at 7 lbs 14 oz and was 20.5 inches long.  Big sister, Ellie, loves HER baby brother and is already proving to be a great big sister.  Bennett means "blessed one." Our hope and prayer is that he is a blessing to everyone he meets.

Big congrats to Mike & Becka Marston, who are the daughter and son-in-law of Gwynn & Pooka Lewis who head up Sowers. Becka also works part-time for the Sowers office sending out reports to mission-aries and doing occais-ional mailings. We praise the Lord for this wonderful new gift He has given.
