We are based in Krabi while both Kho Lanta and Kiamngam Village
are 80 kilo- meters away. It is our prayer that God continues
to use us mightily in this new type of ministry and in our
new place of assignment and that our lives will shine and
manifest His grace upon the lives of the people He loves and
died for. We real- ly need your prayers, especially for a
Thai national who has a burden to help us in the ministry
here. The Lord transfered us here to Krabi with the purpose
of reaching out to its people and its neigh- boring cities,
towns and provinces. May God's purpose prevail!
This
was our first Short Term mission trip in over 10 years. We
were truly blessed by the support of our church, but espe-
cially in how God put people in our path to minister to. The
wonderful Chinese people were very open and curious about
us as Americans which provided us the opportunity to share
our beliefs and values. The window of opportunity is open
now in China. Americans are uniquely gifted by God to take
the gospel to the Chinese. The Chinese people have a great
desire for American English which gives us the opening we
need to get to know them and ultimately share the Lord with
them.
Sowers did an excellent job of taking care of our group and
we are eager to continue in this ministry over the next few
years.
