Let's Knock out Worms & Blindness in Ugandan Children

Did you know that research estimates more than one-third of the world's population to be infected with some type of worm, more than 50% of whom are children? In Uganda, worm infestation is the number three killer of children, following closely behind AIDS and malaria.

We are now committed to a new venture - the elimination of worm infection and the prevention of further disease. Our immediate plan is to conduct a medical clinic in Uganda this January 2007. On each future trip to Uganda we hope to take as much medicine as we can possibly purchase, helping those in need of the yearly tablet. Our goal is to treat 5,000 children and families on each visit. We are also looking for medical professionals assist with the medical clinic in Uganda for administering antibiotics and other prescription drugs.

GUIHING MINISTRY - Philippines
After 2 years of doing community development programs in the village of Guihing, we started having a worship service every Sunday at the Center. Around 20 adults regularly attend the service and receive God's message.

On September 3, 2006 the newly formed fellowship of indigenous believers of the Kalagan tribe held their 1st Thanksgiving Sunday and mass child dedication. 13 children were dedicated to the Lord. More than 100 people attended this amazing service. After the message the pastor made a call of commitment and many people, including men who attended the service, received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Praise the Lord for His goodness!
