Sowers'
China Ministry
(Article by Luke & Jenny Zhang)
Our
Chinese ministry director, Luke Zhang, and his wife have been
busy in laboring with many Chinese churches in and outside
China this year. Luke was invited to speak to the Air Sunday
School at GoodTV station in Taiwan, and recorded two series
of teaching: discipleship and mission. These messages will
be broadcasted to Mainland China from Taiwan. He was also
in southern parts of China, ministering to young professionals
and students during spring this year. In August, after sharing
at the 7th CCCOWE conference in Macau, he was asked to speak
at Mission Korea 2006 in Seoul. The theme of this mission
conference was Picking Up the Lost Calling. Luke spoke specifically
on China city evangelism, and mission strategies to over 5500
students there. This fall, he will again lead a discipleship
conference in Beijing and also in house churches in the Zhe-Jiang
area.

wife, Jenny, was in China during the month of May. God had
opened a door for her to take the China's national counseling
exam. Through hard laboring and His mercy, she passed the
exam and will be getting the license very soon. She is hoping
to work in this field along with her education background
in China.

this fall. He has grown so much and now it is a new era for
him. Though he only goes 2 half days, it will be good for
Jenny as it will allow her to have some quiet time of her

Jenny to have them, and to hear their great
